Shimran is dedicated to nourishing your mind through thought-provoking books with a powerful spiritual message

 

Shimran is the start of the Silk  Road in Teheran Iran – the Silk  Road runs from Iran to Xian (pronounced  Shee’an) in China. I have chosen the name because the Silk Road was not just a conduit of treasures, herbs, jewels, spices and silks but also a conduit of ideas and religious traditions. All the major world faiths – Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism etc have travelled and been disseminated along the Silk Road. I therefore chose the name Shimran for the company as we carry on the traditions of the Silk Road spreading ideas on faith and spirituality to feed the mind, spirit  and nourish the soul.
